Large interior volume desiccator, clear polycarbonate top and white polypropylene bottom. These units have extra heavy walls to eliminate the danger of implosion. Will hold a vacuum of 740mm of Hg for a period of 24 hours. The stopcock is highly visible red, and has a port which accepts 6.4mm I.D. tubing.
The neoprene O-ring seal does not require grease, but is not harmed if grease is used. The polypropylene bottom section provides excellent chemical resistance.
The clear top and bottom vacuum desiccator is constructed of polycarbonate, and has the same features and dimensions as the polypropylene desiccators.

Very useful for vacuum drying and degassing procedures. The chamber is made of clear polycarbonate for full visibility. The polypropylene stopcock has a Teflon® TFE plug and it accepts 6.4mm inside diameter tubing. The chamber inside diameter is 20cm and maximum inside height 11 cm.
The plate is 44mm x 232mm in diameter. Between the plate and chambers' flange is an O-ring seal.
Polypropylene body with PTFE plug and washer, and bright red handle with nut. Taper fits on the desiccator port, and the plug is three-way for vacuum draw, shut-off and vacuum release. Used on the # 1201 series desiccators.
The bellows collapses when there is negative pressure vacuum within the desiccator and expands under ambient atmospheric pressure. This provides an instant indication as to whether your desiccator is under vacuum or not. The vacuum indicator fits on the tapered outlet of desiccator stopcock.
